Under the title “Disputed natures: power, possibility, prefiguration” the third congress of the Political Ecology Network (POLLEN) took place from September 22 to 25, 2020. Organized by the ESRC STEPS Center (IDS / SPRU, University of Sussex ) and the Political Ecology Network (POLLEN), more than 1,000 participants participated in 90 sessions. Federica Ravera and Irene Iniesta-Arandia organized two sessions entitled: “The contested nature of climate change: convergence of feminist and decolonial approaches to explore intersectionality and transformative adaptation” where more than 10 researchers participated, bringing together proposals that question current adaptation approaches to climate change.
